Stunned, Ezra Standish touched his lips. They tingled and felt slightly swollen and sore. There was no denying the fact that he had just been kissed - very thoroughly. Not simply kissed but claimed, ravished, and possessed.

It had started out gently, as a complete surprise. That first hesitant brush of lips against his mouth, a shy question. He'd been shocked and it had taken him a moment to grasp what was happening. Yet, he must have given some kind of encouragement as the next kiss was a bit firmer, more demanding, hinting at a barely leashed hunger.
