[indicates Ezra on the phone]

It was five o'clock on a Thursday afternoon and Vin was finding it hard to concentrate on what he was working on, his mind kept drifting. Every other thought was of a certain green-eyed vamp and his remaining thoughts eventually lead to a certain green-eyed vamp.

"I have Ezra on the brain," he muttered, running a hand through his hair. He drummed his fingers in the top of his desk and eyed the phone, wondering if he should call Ezra. He didn't want to seem needy or scare him away by moving too fast.

"'Course," he snorted, "after what we did on the hood of Chris's car and at the movies, 'too fast' no longer applied." He shook head, still unable to believe how he'd acted or reacted rather. He's never moved quite that fast before. Usually he liked to take his time and get to know the person a little first and he'd never ever had sex outside a club before ... at least not where anyone could see anyway.

That didn't seem to matter with Ezra. With Ezra none of the usual rules applied. Vin had never felt something so primal before. Never felt such an overwhelming need to claim someone, especially to the extent that he wanted the whole world to know who Ezra belonged to. What was really bad was that he wanted to do it again and again and again until not only the world knew but Ezra did as well, then he wanted Ezra to do the same to him. And as much as all these wild feelings scared him, they excited him even more.

Vin took a deep breath and slowly released it, then picked the phone up and dialed the number, that he'd memorized the night it had been given to him.

[Hello?]

"Ezra?" Vin asked, even though he'd know that voice anywhere.

[Vin?]

"Yeah. I'm not interrupting anything am I?"

[Nothing that won't keep.]

Vin could hear the smile in those honeyed words and it brought an answering smile to his face. "I was wondering if you wanted to get together?"

[Let me think about it? Hmm, okay. When?]

"Now, in my dorm room." The word was out of his mouth before he even knew he was going to say it.

Ezra gave a merry little laugh. <Right now? You want me to just drop everything so I can be with you?]

Vin tightened his grip on the phone. "Yes, I do."

[I have a paper due on Monday ...]

"That's what Sunday night is for," Vin pointed out. He didn't know why he was pushing so hard. All he knew was that he needed to see Ezra. "And if I know you half as well as I think I do then that paper is all ready finished or is nearly so. Am I right?"

[I'm working on the final draft. I should have all ready completed it, but no someone keeps distracting me ...]

"So sorry to bother you," he sighed in disappointment. He wanted to Ezra, but he wasn't about to beg. "I'll call ya later and see if we can work something out."

[Vin ...]

"Bye." He hung up and tossed it aside, then immediately regretted it. He began to worry his lip as he realized that Ezra didn't have his number. Grabbing the phone he pushed redial. "Hey, it's me. I didn't mean to be such an ass. Do ya hate me?"

[No, of course not! Are you mad at me?]

"No," he grinned. "I understand. Really, I do."

[Good. I'm not blowing you off, Vin. I really have to finish this paper, I got a B was my last one and damn near fainted. So are we good?]

Vin closed his eyes at Ezra's choice of words. "Yeah, we're good. Talk to ya later." He clicked the phone off, but didn't put it down. He slapped himself on the forehead as he remembered he hadn't given Ezra his number. So once again he pressed the redial button.

[Standish residence, Standish speaking. How may I direct your call?]

"Has anyone ever told you you're crazy?" he laughed.

[Once or twice.]

"Are ya done with your paper yet?"

[Why yes, I am! I've completed it and printed it and have it ready to hand in ... all in the three minutes since you last called.]

"All right, all right! I know I'm bothering you," Vin admitted. "But it really isn't my fault."

[Oh, so you're saying it's mine?]

"You've bewitched me ..."

[Bewitched you?]

"Yes," Vin was struggling to contain his amusement. "I'm now under your power, use me as you will."

[Ooooh, I'll have to keep that in mind, when next we meet.]

"When will that be?"

[Hell of a lot sooner, if you'd give me more than five minutes at a time to finish my paper!]

"Okay, okay, I can take a hint," Vin chuckled. "How about I try and stretch
it to ten, would that help?"

[A whole ten minutes? Think ya could last that long?]

"It'll be hard, but for you I'm willing to make the sacrifice," he told him, his voice all deep and sultry.

[Then I'll talk you again in ten.]

"Ten minutes," he repeated with a nod. He slipped the phone in his pocket and checked the clock. "I can do this," he told himself, as he headed for the bathroom. He was lucky that his dorm had recently been remodeled and that the rooms now had bathrooms and he didn't have to go all the way down the hall. Once he finished his business, he washed and dried his hands. Then poked his head out the door to glance at the clock, five minutes to go.

He put some stuff away and straightened his desk, as soon as he sat back down. Three minutes. Pulling the phone from his pocket, opened it then swore as he saw that battery light was flashing. Two minutes.

"Charge," he growled, at the cordless phone now sitting in its base. Thirty seconds. He snatched it up and pushed redial.

[You're late.]

"Don't go getting your boxers in a twist ..."

[That won't happen.]

"What?"

[I'm not wearing any.]

"Don't tell me things like that, Ezra," he moaned.

[Can you picture me without my clothes ...]

"Ezra," he growled. "I'm not having phone sex with you."

[Why not?]

"'Cause I want to see you," Vin didn't miss the coolness that entered that sexy voice. "It's not sex I want. It's you, Ezra. Now that's not to say that I would say no to sex 'cause when we're together the world moves, but it's not 'all' I want from you."

[You'd be the first. Most only see a handsome face and a nice body, but nothing else.]

"I see you, Ezra," Vin assured him. "And you have a hell of a body, one that would make Greek gods weep."

[Vin ... Still want me to come to your room?]

"Yes, Ezra," he told him. "No matter what else happens, I want to see you."

[I'll be there in thirty minutes.]

"I'll be waiting," he promised, laying the phone down. Then with a big grin on his face he turned and began to frown as he saw how messy his room was. He was about to stand when the phone rang. "Hello?"

[Do you have enough protection?]

"Ezra?" he smiled, not believing his luck. "How'd you get my number?"

[Caller ID and don't cha want me to have it?]

"Of course, I do!" he exclaimed. "That's why I called ya the second time."

[So why didn't 'you' give me your number?]

"'Cause you tortured me by making me wait ten minutes to call you."

[Okay, I guess that warrants forgiveness.]

"Thank you," Vin rolled his eyes. "Now, what did ya ask me?"

[Protection? Do you have enough? If not, then I can stop and pick some up.]

"I have plenty ... or at least enough to get us through the night ..."

[Then I'll be there in twenty.]

Vin quickly got to his feet and started gathering all his dirty clothes, shoving them in the closet, in a drawer with his clean ones, under the bed ... any where so long as they weren't all over the room. He stripped the bed and remade it with fresh clean sheets, kicking the discarded one under the bed as well, then rushed into the bathroom to brush his teeth.

A knock on the door brought a huge grin to his handsome. "He's early," he wiped his hands on his jeans, then opened the door. "Hey you're ear... Chris?"

"Have you seen Buck?" Chris asked, getting straight to the point.

"He's probably in the library, like he is every Thursday. Rushing to complete all of his Friday assignments," he said. "Thought you had a date tonight?"

"So did I ... she never showed," Chris replied, with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Ah man, I'm sorry," Vin sympathized. "I'd ask you in, but I already have plans."

"What kind of plan?"

"Me, kind of plans." Came a voice from behind Chris.

Chris grinned and moved out of the way. "I'll leave you to it then. Library?"

"Library," Vin repeated, never taking his eyes off Ezra. "You're early."

"I can leave ..."

"No!" he reached out and snagged his hand. "I can adjust."

"If you're sure," Ezra gave him a slow smile.

"Come on in," Vin made a sweeping gesture with his free hand.

Ezra walked into the room, still holding on to Vin's hand. He gave it a quick glance and decided that as far as dorm rooms went it was pretty nice.

"So," he shifted his attention, "how have you been?"

"Good. You?"

"Can't complain," he moved a little closer. "Your classes are going well I trust?"

"Yeah ..."

"And your friends are just as temperamental as ever, I would imagine."

"Yeah, I guess ..."

"Excellent," Ezra was now standing directly in front of his lover and with a gentle shove had him flush against the door. "Lock it," he directed, running his hands leisurely up Vin's chest, the turning of the lock seemed to echo throughout the room. "Now," he moved closer, so only an inch separated them, "that the pleasantries are out of the way ..."

Vin's whole body started to throb in anticipation as he grabbed Ezra's hips and pulled him closer, before cupping that glorious ass in hands that never wanted to let go.

"Fuck me," Ezra commanded, working a leg between Vin's, and slowly began to rub against him.

"S..stop!" he stammered, in disbelief. He didn't know who was more shocked, himself or Ezra.

"Stop?" Ezra repeated, with a frown on his face. "What's the matter? Don't you want me?"

"Of course, I want you!" Vin tightened his hold when Ezra went to move away. "But this isn't why I wanted you here ..."

Ezra cut him off with a sweet kiss. "I know," he smiled, "which is why I want to."

"Ezra," he moaned, then took those sinful lips in a kiss that left no doubt that he wanted this just as much. "How about," he planted kisses along Ezra's jaw, clasped him by the waist and bodily lifting him up, prompting Ezra to wrap his legs around Vin's waist, "you f* me instead."

The Southerner's eyes grew wide and darkened even further at the prospect of being allowed to become one with Vin. "I can do that," he said, in a husky voice. He lowered his legs and stepped back a step or two. "Take off your clothes ... on second thought I want to that ... No, wait!" he laughed.

"Either way they're coming off," Vin told him with a grin. "Now do you wanna do it or shall I?"

"You do it," he replied, with a twinkle in his eyes, "slowly."

Without breaking eye contact, Vin slowly worked his shirt up and over his head, letting it float to the floor. Then unbuttoned and unzipped his jeans, easing them and his boxers past his hips. One enticing little wiggle had them skimming down his legs, to pool at his bare feet.

"I wish I could fold you and keep you in my pocket," Ezra shook his head, then hastily removed his own clothes.

"Hey!" Vin protested. "How come you didn't do a strip tease?"

"You didn't ask," he cocked an eyebrow. "Come here," he crooked a finger.

"No," Vin said, crossing his arms over his chest in a mock pout.

"Please," he ducked his head, looking at him through his lashes.

"Okay." Vin quickly closed the distance between them, took Ezra by the hands, and led him backwards toward the bed. "How do ya want me?"

"I want to see you," he replied in a soft voice.

Vin fell back on the bed, pulling Ezra with him.

Ezra crawled up those long legs, dropping kisses in random places.

Vin clutched at the sheets, arching his back and his breath came in pants as Ezra drove him wild with pleasure. His eyes drifted shut as he gave a long deep moan and his mind went blank as the entrance to his body was teased.

An hour later, Vin's eyes fluttered open, he blinked them several times, and smiled as memories of earlier flooded his mind. He pressed a kiss to the side of Ezra's head, then gently turned them onto their sides. Ezra may have been smaller than him, but he was heavy.

"Vin," Ezra mumbled.

"Shh," he gave him a lazy kiss. "Go back to sleep."

"'Kay," he yawned, falling right back to sleep.

Vin eased out of the bed and with a wince walked into the bathroom to get a wash cloth, only to realize that Ezra must have all ready wiped them off, as he wasn't sticky. Five minutes later he stood beside his bed looking down at the vision stretched out across it.

It was all almost too good to be true, which meant something ... anything could or would go wrong. He felt good, too damn good. Part of him wanted to start a fight with Ezra just so they could get the first one out of the way.

In the past when he'd given his heart it always wound up getting broken. Time and time again. He didn't want that happening with Ezra. 'Course, looking at his lover now you wouldn't believe he'd be able to hurt a spider's web, let alone break someone's heart.

Ezra's words from earlier suddenly sounded in his head and he vowed that he'd do everything within his power to keep from breaking Ezra's heart in return. Lost in his thoughts, he never noticed that Ezra had awakened and was now watching him.

Vin jumped as a warm hand touched his thigh, then sighed as a wet kiss was pressed into his abdomen.

"Are you all right?" Ezra asked, from where he knelt on the bed in front of him.

"Yeah," he shrugged, then grinned, "got lost in your sexiness."

Ezra rolled his eyes, then flopped back on the bed. He knew that wasn't true, but since he wasn't ready to talk either he'd let it slid ... for now.

Vin sighed in relief that Ezra wasn't going to push and decided then and there that he was going to enjoy every second he could with Ezra and worry about the rest as it came along.

"Ready for round two?" Ezra surged up, wrapped his arms around Vin, and twisted around so that once again he was draped across the taller man.

Vin laughed and flipped them over, "Oh no, you don't! I'm f** you this time."

"I wouldn't have it any other way," he wiggled, causing his lover to gasp.

"Me neither," Vin stated, capturing that sweet mouth in a scorching kiss that left them both gasping for breath and wanting more. 'I wouldn't have YOU any other way,' he silently continued, which was his last coherent thought before kissing his way down Ezra's body.

The End

Feelin' Way Too Damn Good"

missed you so much
That I begged you to fly and see me
You must've broke down
Coz you finally said that would
But now that you're here
I just feel like I'm constantly dreaming

Coz something's gotta go wrong
Coz I'm feelin' way to damn good

For 48 hours I don't think that we left my hotel room
Should show you the sights
Coz I'm sure that I said that I would
We gotta make love just one last time in the shower

Well something's gotta go wrong
Coz I'm feelin' way to damn good

And it's like, every time I turn around
I fall in love and find my heart face down and
Where it lands is where it should
This time it's like
The two of us should probably start to fight
Coz something's gotta go wrong
Coz I'm feeling way to dam good, oh
Feelin' way too damn good

Sometimes I think best if left in the memory
It's better kept inside than left for good
Lookin' back each time they tried to tell me
Well something's gotta go wrong
Coz I'm feelin' way too damn good

And it's like, every time I turn around
I fall in love and find my heart face down and
Where it lands is where it should
This time it's like
The two of us should probably start to fight
Coz something's gotta go wrong
Coz I'm feeling way to dam good, oh
Feelin' way too damn good
Oh, oh, feelin' way too damn good

I missed you so much
That I begged you to fly and see me
You must've broke down
Coz you finally said that would
But now that you're here
I just feel like I'm constantly dreaming

Coz something's gotta go wrong
Coz I'm feelin' way to damn good

And it's like, every time I turn around
I fall in love and find my heart face down and
Where it lands is where it should
This time it's like
The two of us should probably start to fight
Coz something's gotta go wrong
Coz I'm feeling way to damn good, oh, oh
Feelin' way too damn good
(I missed you so much
That I begged you to fly and see me)

Feelin' way too damn good
(I missed you so much
That I begged you to fly and see me)
