Me For Me

by Sarah

I love you.

A feeling of vulnerability comes over me and I sit here unmoving. I never thought I would ever give myself in so willingly to another human being. I don't believe it, it can't be true. I know better than this, I was taught better than this. How could this happen? I know what happened.

You.

Your eyes, your lips, your smile, your..... your kiss. How could anyone not fall for you.

I did.

At first it meant nothing. It was a physical thing, straight sweating, our bodies rubbing together, no strings attached. I wanted your body not your heart. Now you've gotten inside me, you've become a part of me. Now I want your heart. Every time I leave my room I look for you, watch for you. Every time I close my eyes I think of you, dream of you. The way you look in candle light when we're... making love. Is it love? You please me, complete me, fulfill me in a way nobody ever has. I never let anybody else try, I've always kept myself closed off from everybody, even you. Well, I tried to. But you, you've set me free and let me be me. I let down my walls when we're alone together and let you see me, all of me. You never laughed or made fun at me, you accepted me.

It's love.

This is meaningful, it's incredible, pleasurable, unforgettable, the way I feel. You stole my heart, my affections, my love, by just being who you are. The way you walk, the way you talk, the way you dress. I want you to kiss me, hug me, hold me close.

I want you to love me.

There's no need for fancy clothes, when I'm alone with you I don't have put on a show. I can close my eyes and pretend you love every freckle, every imperfection, every inch of my skin. Fulfilling me entirely, taking all of me in. That you're actually loving me for me.

But that's the biggest question of all. I love you for you but, do you love me for me?

~~End~~
